Christmas Dragon Movie Premiere

Are you ready to watch a new Christmas movie?

I had the opportunity to see
The Christmas Dragon,
a new, family-friendly film from Arrowstorm Entertainment and Excel Entertainment!

Check out the trailer below and tell me what you think?

About:
This family-friendly Christmas tale can best be described as “Home Alone” meets “How to Train Your Dragon” meets “The Hobbit”. Since the film touches on the importance of giving back during the holidays, they have partnered with the Utah Food Bank and Megaplex Theaters to give back to Utah and help fight hunger. They will be collecting cans of food for the Screenings of the film and then donating ALL NET PROCEEDS from the theatrical (Nov. 7-13) to the Utah Food Bank.

In my opinion:

The Christmas Dragon is a movie about orphans who travel on a journey to find Father Christmas, and ultimately save Christmas. Although this is a touching story about believing in Christmas, it was more about than the children’s journey than focused on the Christmas season. This movie seemed most appropriate for ages eight to thirteen. The scenes might frighten younger children, under the age of six, when the orphans  fight to escape dragons, goblins, bandits, ogres and other fantasy creatures. My nine-year-old daughter loved it and was entertained; yet scared at some parts. She especially loved the segment when the orphan girl, Ayden, finds a crystal ball from an elf, to guide them on their adventure. There were some humorous parts, yet the movie is more of a fantasy-type film. My daughter said she would definitely watch it again! I recommend this movie to families who love fantasy and Christmas, and want to enjoy a clean and enjoyable movie during the holidays!
