2 DVDs Review: When Calls the Heart & Find a Way

This morning I wanted to share with you two outstanding DVDs you must watch. These are excellent family films and it would be a shame for you to miss out...

First, one of my favorite Hallmark TV shows is
When Calls The Heart: Heart of the Family

About:

Elizabeth returns to Hope Valley and immediately volunteers to look after a neighbor's rural homestead...and his two children, an undertaking which proves to be a bigger chore than she'd imagined. But when Jack lends a hand, and they wind up chatting by the fire, all seems right in Hope Valley and the world. Meanwhile, in Hamilton, Bill Avery sets about busting a counterfeiting ring wide open, an endeavor which surprisingly leads him to Hope Valley, where he mysteriously declines Jack's help. But Bill isn't the only big-town visitor: Elizabeth is even more surprised to see her former suitor, Charles Kensington, standing right in the middle of her schoolhouse.

In my opinion:

I loved the continued story of Jack and Elizabeth's relationship. I didn't care for Charles to be in the picture but there always is "the other guy." So, I'll just wait till they finally get together and get married. Because, we all know that Jack and Elizabeth will be together in the end. It is what the audience craves and we continue watching because of their adorable relationship. It is just a matter of time. I loved the characters. There is always some villain in the story which creates more drama. Bill Avery is leaning toward the dark side. Hopefully, he will realize his mistakes and ask for help. When Calls the Heart truly is a wonderful family film that all should watch. It is clean and definitely worth watching.

Second, I watched
Find a Way

About:

Finding faith can be difficult for many people on any given day. Imagine an ordinary Sunday morning. It's time to get ready for church and you go to wake your talented, loving, bright, beautiful son. Only, he won't wake up...every again. What happens to faith then?

This is how tragedy began for a Burlington, North Carolina family. Their son, Harry Cohen, was a high school senior-a genuinely inspired young man, star football player, friend to all and a strong Christian. One morning he didn't wake up. The untimely death of an outstanding young person naturally brings up questions about faith and God's presence. How can God allow such a thing to happen? The even obviously has an immense effect on family, friends and the community at large.

Things that previously seemed to be so important are put into perspective and we can gain an understanding as to what is truly important in life. Harry is gone from us, but he continues to inspire actions, words and deeds with a message of faith & hope. Find a way will stand as a tribute to Harry Cohen and be a beacon of hope to anyone who has ever dealt with pain and heartache.

In my opinion:

This was definitely a very serious film with an important message of faith and persevering.  We must never give up on our faith especially when challenges arise. Life is hard but we can do hard things. It was hard to get through Find a way because our family is dealing with a daughter with a short life span. We don't know how long she has but we plan on spending as much time as possible with her while she is on the earth. Life is hard but we can endure to the end and trust in the Lord's path for us. I loved the different experiences the people had whether it be death, divorce, relationships, bullies, etc. We all have challenges and we can get through them together. It is through these type of inspired movies that remind us that we are not alone. We all struggle but together we can pull through.

Disclaimer: I received one or more of the products or services for free in the hope that I would mention them on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
