Room
on the Broom is about a kind witch who invites some unexpected animals
to join her on her broom, much to the frustration of her cat. Just as
she is about to be eaten by a fearsome dragon, the witch is saved by the
gang of animals, all working together. The cat learns the importance
of friends & family, and the witch rewards her new friends with a
magnificent broom for everyone!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Julia Donaldson is one of the UK’s most popular children’s authors. Her books - including The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom – have won many prizes and are perennial bestsellers around the world and Room on the Broom was
recently the number one bestselling children’s picture book in America.
She is also the author of many songs, plays and novels including the
award-winning Running on the cracks for teenagers, the Princess Mirror-Belle stories and The Giants and the Joneses.
In 2011 Julia was appointed Children’s Laureate and received an MBE in
the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for her services to literature. She
has recently undertaken a tour performing in libraries from John
O’Groats to Lands End to publicise the current plight of libraries in
the UK.

you looking for a cute movie for Halloween that has a great message?
This movie is for you. I loved the colors, the message about friendship
and the voices. My daughter loved the movie. She wanted to watch it over
and over again. I'm looking forward to watching it every year. A
perfect tradition for the family.
This movie was also nominated for an Oscar last year. The story was sweet and perfect for any family movie night. I highly recommend this film especially for Halloween.
