I love children's books especially when I get the opportunity of sitting down and reading to my children. When I was growing up, I loved reading and heading to the library for more books. My son has been privileged to have a mommy who reviews books for different companies.
When I saw that Barron's had a Richard Scarry book to review, I was excited because I remember reading Scarry's books and loved them. So, it was nice to show my son one of his books.

In my opinion:
This was the perfect size book for my four year old. He loved all of the characters and moving vehicles that went around busytown. I loved how there were ten characters to get to know on each page. They had wacky names which made me smile. There were also fun pictures on each page to talk about. This book is definitely one you should have in your child's library. Plus, there are other books to choose from including Let's Count with Lowly, All the Colors of Busytown and Good morning, Busytown. My son wanted all of them! This was the perfect book for my son who loves all things that move.
