7 day Easter Countdown + FREE Printables

Today, I created an easy 7 day Easter Countdown. Again, I used Zion's Mercantile advent calendar shadow box which comes in handy. I just wish I had a white one as well as the brown one. Maybe one day I'll get the courage to paint it white. I know my sister, Cassie would in an instant.

The LDS Friend always has some sort of countdown till Easter as well. This year, I wanted to teach my son that there is more to Easter than the Easter bunny and eggs. Although I do love all of the festivities, I decided to put it all together.

Here is what I came up with.
There are 3 printables for anyone to print and use themselves. They are FREE so be sure to go {HERE} to grab them.

Here is what you will need to do:

*Cut out each square.
*Purchase The Friend March 2015 (Children's magazine published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints).
*Cut out each circle found on pages 24-25.
*Place 1 circle, a treat and an activity (see ideas below) in each box (make sure you pay attention to the order of the circles).
*Clip or tape FREE Printable squares onto bags or boxes.
*Start countdown one week before Easter (March 29th).

Activities:
Day 1: Decorate Easter eggs
Day 2: Play hide the egg-One child is It and leaves the room. Another child hides an egg. The child who is It returns and finds the egg. Clues can be given such as hot/cold
Day 3: Play plastic Easter egg game-Play a color memory game by placing 6-10 plastic eggs on a plate. Cover the plate. Ask one child to close their eyes. Another child takes an egg away. The other child decides which egg is missing.
Day 4: Easter egg bingo-Go to http://crazylittleprojects.com/2014/04/easter-bingo-game.html and print out the bingo cards.
Day 5: Make a treat-Easter bird's Nest treats
Day 6: Coloring/writing-Find pictures on Pinterest
Day 7: Read Easter books

And be sure to print out these FREE Printables...
{I created 18 circles just in case you wanted to start tomorrow, however, start the circles 7 days prior to Easter}

These FREE printables are for personal use only. Thank you.
