About the Author:

Nancy Campbell Allen (N.C. Allen) is the author of eleven published novels, which span genres from contemporary romantic suspense to historical fiction. In 2005 , her work won the Utah Best of State award. She has presented at numerous writing conferences and events since her first book was released in 1999. Nancy received a BS in Elementary Education from Weber State University. She loved to read, write, travel and research, and enjoys spending time laughing with family and friends. She is married and the mother of three children.

In my opinion:

I'm in love with the Proper romance novels and My Fair Gentleman is one of my favorites. It is also based on a classic, My Fair Lady but has its own twist. 
The characters Nancy created were equally enjoyable and I especially liked Ivy and Jack's relationship. Jack drove me nuts in the beginning with his rebellious side but throughout the story, his softer side was shown for his sister and mother. I guess I always appreciate men who are mature and act like gentlemen. Sometimes, we must overlook the faults in others because we never know who they will become.
Jack becomes the new Earl of Stansworth and quickly needs to learn how to be polite. How will he ever learn? That is where Ivy comes in. She struggles to teach him the correct way to act. Will she be successful? Will their relationship blossom?
This story was delightful and fabulous. I definitely recommend My Fair Gentleman to anyone who loves a proper romance novel.
