In Emilee's opinion:

I'm a huge fan of The Gruffalo. It made me happy to watch with my children. The Gruffalo was about a mouse who was searching for food one day and came across a few hungry animals. To keep them from eating him, he invented The Gruffalo to scare them. The mouse was a genius and I loved his witty character. Later, the mouse actually sees his imaginary creature and tells him that he is the scariest animal if he would follow him into the forest. The mouse proves to the Gruffalo that he is scary. The story was amazing and I loved all of the characters. I have enjoyed reading children's books written by Julia Donaldson. She is a remarkable writer and has proven to be one of our favorites. I definitely recommend The Gruffalo DVD.

About The Gruffalo’s Child:

One snowy night, the Gruffalo’s Child ignores her father’s warning and bravely tiptoes out of their cave into the deep dark wood in search of the Big Bad Mouse. On her journey, she meets Snake, Owl, and Fox but no sign of the fabled Mouse. He doesn’t really exist…or does he?

The Gruffalo’s Child DVD has an SRP of $9.99 and will be re-released on January 10, 2017.

In Emilee's opinion:

The Gruffalo's child was another fabulous story about some of the same characters from The Gruffalo. It starts with the Gruffalo telling his little girl about the Big Bad Mouse. Of course, she is curious and leaves the cave to find the mouse. On her way, she meets Snake, Owl and Fox. Will she find the Mouse? Will she be scared? The music was amazing and the story made me laugh out loud.  This story definitely drew my children in (19 months and 6 year old) and they were amazed as I was. I definitely recommend The Gruffalo as well as the Gruffalo's Child.
