This week I'm sharing a new idea that can be used for your Visiting Teaching sisters. This was definitely a fun idea for my sisters and I to add to our book titled, Growing up with Conference. If you haven't heard of it, check it out at Amazon or Books & Things. It is only $3.99 and is a great resource to have as you prepare for General Conference. There are three sections in our book, Learn, Listen, and Live it. All sections have fabulous projects to create and help your family prepare. It really is fabulous!!!
WEEK 3: VISITING TEACHING CONFERENCE KIT
ABOUT:
Create a conference kit to hand out to your visiting teaching sisters as a reminder to prepare and listen to general conference. The sisters will appreciate the goodies and encouragement!
MATERIALS:
- smarties candy
- journal/notebook
- pen
- gum
- cellophane bag
- ribbon or curling ribbon
- 3 printables
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Put the smarties, journal, pen, and gum in a cellophane bag.
- Print out our three FREE handouts found HERE. Add the handouts to the bag. Set aside.
- Tie a piece of curling ribbon around the bag for a quick and easy way, or create a bow.
