Keepsake Christmas Stories
Holiday Favorites as Performed with
The Tabernacle Choir

About:

This commemorative collector's edition celebrates twenty years of the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square's beloved Christmas show—an annual tradition enjoyed by millions, both live on stage and through its holiday season broadcast on PBS stations, where it has earned Grammy and Emmy awards and nominations. Each year the show is hosted by a distinguished special guest, including Jane Seymour, Tom Brokaw, Kristin Chenoweth, and Hugh Bonneville. These holiday story adaptions have ranged from The Gift of the Magi to the story behind the writing of the hymn, "It Is Well With My Soul" to the inspiring tale of "The Candy Bomber"—an unlikely American WWII hero who dropped candy from his airplane to the children of Germany.

This coffee table edition is the perfect holiday keepsake for all ages and features photographs of the stage productions alongside the stories, which also includes a weblink to hear the stories from every performance.

In my opinion:

This book is beautiful and I immediately bought one for my parents for Christmas. Since we don't live in Utah anymore we aren't able to witness The Tabernacle Choir in concert. However, as you open this book, they invite you to open a digital device and visit the address listed. There were several videos of the stories which are perfect because I was able to watch them from the comfort of my home.

Keepsake Christmas Stories included guest narrators such as Hugh Bonneville, Kristin Chenoweth, Tom Brokaw, Jane Seymour, David McCullough, Richard Thomas and many more. It was hard to choose one favorite but a few that touched my heart were Christmas from Heaven and God Bless Us, Every One. There were many remarkable stories and I believe when we read them we will feel the spirit of the Christmas season. I'm so grateful for all the talented individuals who shared their gifts and stories with us. I definitely recommend this book.
