In my opinion:
Sarah Keen is the author of several knitting books, and Knitted Forest Friends is another exceptional book. There are 20 adorable friends to knit. Some of my favorites were an ant, a frog, a hedgehog, a deer, and a woodpecker. Each animal had information you'll need, including materials, finished size, tension, and abbreviations. Each animal also provided instructions for each section, such as body, head, feet/legs, tail, wings, beak, ears, paws, and clothes. At the back of the book, she included techniques such as casting on, knitting stitches, shaping, casting off, special instructions, making up instructions, and finishing touches. Sarah amazes me with her detailed and incredible designs.
